What's the worst thing you can think of...

Imagine the worst thing you can think of.

Sit with it...like in Predicament, you didn't try to escape the feelings or intensity of the situations, you just kept breathing. Do that now. Really set aside the fear of manifesting something horrible and focus entirely on the worst thing, involving you, you can think of. Be graphic in your meditation. If it is an actual experience, embrace your courage for a moment and relive it. See the faces and the space, feel and smell, hear and remember. If you are creating this visualization, be as detailed as possible as you begin to reveal a deep fear to yourself. Be purposeful in your vision.

Now, in the midst of it...infuse and overwhelm the emotions that are welling up inside of you with love. Give your whole loving heart to your meditation without changing what yis taking place. Bring love into the worst thing you can imagine.

The question is, can you sit with the most horrible thing in your life and open your heart? If you cannot receive love from it, can you give love to it? Of course you can, so maybe the real question is...

Do you?

What situation are you currently in right now that you might be trying to avoid or change because of the discomfort it causes you? How would it FEEL differently if you injected total, unconditional love without the need to control or alter IT.

If you are going to separate yourself from IT...then could you love IT from afar?

Of course you could. So the question really is...

Do you?

Where is it impossible to love? Or to be loved? To give? Or to be given to? Can you feel fear and love at the same time? What about hate and love? Can your experience of oneness and love/light be ALL encompassing?

Of course it can.

Do not create a limit to when and where you can offer love. When you do, recognize that it is only a reflection of when and where you can believe you can RECEIVE love.

To your heart, from the deepest chamber of mine, bring love into all things.

Imagine what your relationships would be like, if you can give your whole heart to the things you deplore. Imagine how easy it can be to choose love.

Central Park NY. OK not the worst thing I can think of but being in the city is a challenge for me. I've always been a mountain boy. I feel claustrophobic and ungrounded...what a great place for me to connect and surrender to love!
